The James Brydon Water Lily is one of the few hybrid red lilies that tolerate partial shade and grows easily in shallow waters making it ideal for patio containers and water gardens. James Brydon produces 4 to 6" peony-shaped, bright metallic red petals with a central mass of yellow stamens that float on the surface of the water. Each flower gives off a slight fragrance of sweet apple as it opens in the morning and closes at night.
